Are You Ready To Lose The Weight For The Last Time?

You’re done. You’ve tried multiple weight loss “plans,” books and techniques.  Sure, you may have lost some weight, got excited but then gained it back.  You’re discouraged.  Asking yourself, “Why can’t I lose weight and keep it off?”  You are ready to lose the weight for the last time.  No gaining it back.

Does this sound too good to be true?  I certainly did before I learned how to lose the weight for the last time.

Like you, I have struggled with my weight since I was a child.  My mother called me pleasingly plump at age 6.  As I got older, I started emotionally eating, because of rocky things going on at home.  Making cookies and eating ice cream.  For a while as a teenager I could get away with it, but as soon as I went off the college, I gained the freshman 15 in a snap.  I worked in the kitchen at my college and used to dip into the giant vats of chocolate chip cookie dough the cook made every morning.

What about you?  Weight struggles and eating to deal with emotional situations ring a bell?

On and on during my life, ups and downs in my weight, depending on what was going on.  Multiple relationship and health challenges didn’t help.  Eventually after age 50 I really started gaining a lot around my middle and then I became prediabetic.  That was my wake-up call.

What will be your wake-up call?  An unwelcome diagnosis?  Having to buy clothes in bigger and bigger sizes?  Comments from your significant other?  Or just plain sick of how you look and feel?  You’re done.  You’re ready to lose the weight for the last time.

I learned two BIG things that helped me lose the weight for the last time.  These two things helped me make changes that will last the rest of my life.

#1  Food and products with sugar and flour raise your blood sugar.  This causes an insulin response in your body.  Insulin is a fat storing hormone.  When your body has too much insulin, you start storing fat and gain weight.  Not to mention it wreaks havoc on your other hormones.  Cutting out products with sugar and flour (except occasionally) will keep your insulin levels lower and put you into a fat-burning state, instead of a sugar burning state.  That’s what happened to me.  As soon as I cut out these foods, 15 pounds came off.

#2  Your thoughts create feelings in your body, feelings produce actions or no action, and your actions create your results.  If you have a thought like, “That would taste really good,” even if you don’t realize you have the thought, you get a feeling of desire, your action is to have some cookies (or whatever you want) and the result is you gain weight.  I learned how this works and how to intentionally change my thoughts to get the results I wanted, like lose weight and get myself out of the pre-diabetic zone.

There were other things I learned from my weight loss coach, like how to manage urges, how to stay committed to my goal and good health, about hunger hormones and how they work, and much more.

I decided to become a weight loss coach, so that I could help women just like you lose the weight for the last time and eliminate health problems like prediabetes and diabetes, feel better in their bodies, and have more energy.

Would you like to lose the weight for the last time?  No more deprivation and using will power.  You can use your beautiful brain to lose the weight and keep it off.
