Today this reading filled me with thanks that we should have a God that is always with us, protecting us, listening for our call for help and His voice saying here I am.
...and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. Isiah 58:8-9
So many times I have needed comfort or protection or help and knowing that the Lord is always behind me, before me, and listening to my cry for help fills me with such gratitude. He is always there for us! Will you turn to Him, too, when you need help?
